   Thailand is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Why head to this Southeast Asian country you ask? Thailand isn’t called the “Land of Smiles” for nothing. It has the reputation of being a country that is extremely hospitable for tourists. Thais use their traditional “wai” or polite bow and smile to welcome and help visitors. You will find “wats” or temples in each village to accommodate the 95% Buddhist population that is a rich and truly unique part of their culture.
    I t has lush natural attractions and more kinds of plant and animal life than any where else on Earth. Beautiful beaches in the South, mountains to the North; and rainforests, waterfalls, hot springs and caves offer something for everyone. The National Park System treasures their southern island of Phuket, as it is one of the top destinations in the region.
    Bangkok and Chiang Mai are working cities for many Thais. and offer the opportunity Many huge shopping malls are being built around these large cities and are quickly becoming a shopper’s paradise! Bangkok is also the home of one of the worlds largest open markets.
